On the EY Intuitive team, we don’t like to fight. But we do like to win, especially when it comes to hiring the best people. Take our two newest team members, Erin Chan and Meghan Plank, for example. Erin and Meghan worked with us as interns for six months in 2015. They came to us through Drexel University’s Cooperative Education program.
Erin was a design intern and added UX design practices like wireframing and information architecture to her graphic design skillset. Meghan worked as a researcher and gained experience conducting competitive analyses, user interviews and usability testing. Before heading back to school, they shared insights from their co-op experience during one of our monthly Inspire Series sessions.
We were so impressed by their skills, professionalism and fit with our team that we made them both job offers for after graduation.
While they completed their degrees, they continued to take their respective games up a notch. Erin became a “Student to Watch 2016” on Graphic Design USA Magazine’s annual list, which recognizes undergraduate and graduate students from top design schools across the country. Meghan received first place in ACM CHI 2016’s Student Research Competition for researching and designing a mobile app that helps breast cancer survivors increase their physical activity. (CHI, which stands for Computer Human Interaction, is a premiere user-experience industry conference.)
Erin and Meghan are representative of the individuals we look for on the EY Intuitive team: smart, motivated, collaborative and fun. With the addition of these two rising rock stars, our studio continues to grow and represent top talent.
