Senior Designers

We’re looking for talented and collaborative Senior Designers who love working with and learning from a multidisciplinary team, who can help us create exceptional experiences and who excel at communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create smart, effective, engaging and visually appealing user experiences
  • Act as the design discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams of researchers, technologists and engagement team members
  • Be passionate, results-oriented and a strong conceptual thinker
  • Create as well as translate schematic wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and work with developers and animators to create stunning prototypes
  • Communicate tactical and strategic design choices and recommendations to clients and internal teams
  • Obsess over the little things — every icon, every button and every checkbox — and spot a misalignment from across the room

Qualifications, Certifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, Industrial or Product Design
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field
  • Experience communicating and interacting with clients
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Cloud apps, Sketch, Keynote, InVision and other prototyping software
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Openness to local or national travel  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills a plus

Studio Liaison

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated, results-oriented Studio Liaison who is a great problem solver with deep and proven experience in leading a variety of UX design and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take projects implementing improved or completely new experiences from initial client sales meetings through implementation
  • Build and grow client relationships from a profitability standpoint; driving revenue growth and developing the entire relationship within a client organization
  • Follow user-centered design and development methodologies and artifacts and work closely with Designers, Usability, and Technology experts to deliver a solution that matches the quality of our work
  • Discover and structure projects with clients that deliver on business strategies and user needs
  • Create Statements of Work and be responsible for their successful execution
  • Evaluate existing digital products
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to both clients and staff by serving as a connector, ensuring we’re successful in our work and expanding our presence
  • Establish trust by learning how the on-site/generalist and studio/specialist roles can help one another to be successful
  • Manage client and project expectations and schedules, serving as key day-to-day onsite client contact and serve as internal client expert
  • Discover and ensure critical project information is communicated back to our team
  • Meeting strategy and facilitation. Represent remote teams in scrums and other program-level meetings at client site
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing work and ideas and approaches for teams to work more efficiently and effectively together

Qualifications, Certifications and Education:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, program management or client relationship strategy
  • Proven experience leading and growing large-scale, user experience design and development projects
  • Desire and ability to execute large scale projects and multi-task across multiple project initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel regionally 50-80% of the week, including the potential for consecutive days onsite with our clients
  • Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to influence
  • Positive energy and get-it-done attitude
  • Experience leading projects with mobile, CMS, eCommerce, Analytics, ERP, and other platforms highly preferred
  • Experience in varied software development methodologies including waterfall, AGILE, SAFe, and/or Lean UX.
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment

UX Engineer

We’re looking for a UX Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate with our designers, researchers and strategists to create superior user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create experiences that come to life on digital devices
  • Utilize user-centered design methodologies
  • Implement designs with other technologists and technology organizations
  • Build and testing user interfaces to our or our clients’ specifications

Qualifications, Certifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technology or a similar role
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
  • Experience writing accessible, responsive code that performs across browsers and native devices
  • Experience with Photoshop or Sketch
  • Knowledge of building end to end systems using Node.js is a plus
  • Sass/SCSS/CSS precompiler experience preferred
  • Passionate about understanding current and emerging UX trends
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Openness to occasional local or national travel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills a plus
